Soundware™

Soundware gives you the first continuous picture of your hearing health, so you can act before the damage is done.

Hearing loss is gradual and often unnoticed until it's too late. Most people only discover hearing loss at an audiologist appointment, years after the decline began. Soundware changes that. Learn how your hearing works, establish your personal baseline, and return periodically to track changes over time.

Learn

How hearing works. Why damage happens silently. What the standard test misses.

Before you test anything, Soundware walks you through the biology most people have never seen. No prior knowledge needed.

Inside Your Ear

See the anatomy that makes hearing possible. An interactive 3D model shows the anatomical structures and functions that make hearing possible.

How Sound Becomes Hearing

Watch sound transform into electrical signal in real time. The mechanics are more remarkable than most people expect.

How Damage Happens

Most hearing damage is hidden. Discover why standard audiograms miss the earliest and most important signs of decline.

What Your Environment Is Doing

The dB tool shows you exactly how loud the environments in your daily life actually are, and what they’re doing.

Soundware access is free for everyone. Soundbites purchase is not required.

Test

Find out where you stand.

No single test tells you how well you really hear. These four assessments, based on validated clinical frameworks, show you the complete picture of your hearing health.

Speech-in-Noise Test

When you struggle to follow conversation in a noisy room, it's often because the connections between your inner ear and auditory nerve have weakened. Standard audiograms miss this entirely. The Speech-in-Noise test catches it early.

Your score isn't based on how many answers you got right. The test finds your Speech Reception Threshold: the exact noise level where your hearing starts to struggle. The same adaptive method used in clinical hearing research worldwide.

Tone Test

Most hearing tests stop here. The Tone Test measures how quietly a sound needs to be before you stop hearing it at the frequencies most critical for speech. This reflects how well your ear's amplifier cells are working.

On its own, it's the same measurement your doctor uses. Combined with your Speech-in-Noise result, it tells you something doctors rarely check: whether your hearing difficulty is in the amplifiers, the wiring, or both.

Hearing Sensitivity Survey

Tracks changes in sound tolerance over time. Are everyday sounds getting easier or harder to handle?

Tinnitus Impact Survey

Tracks how tinnitus is affecting daily life, and whether that changes.

Monitor

Watch what changes.

Your hearing changes over time, sometimes so gradually you don't notice. A single session tells you where you stand. Repeated sessions reveal what's improving, what's holding steady, what's declining, and whether what you're doing is making a difference.

Keep Monitoring

Hearing health is a long game. Soundware makes it easy to stay on top of it.

Your data contributes to something larger.

Most hearing research is conducted in clinics, on patients who already have diagnosed hearing loss. By tracking your hearing with Soundware, you're helping build the first large-scale picture of how hearing health changes in everyday life, before problems become serious.
